Shooting large groups. I rock it now and feel very confident directing and posing. It was surely not natural- I fought the devil for this knowledge.
The (re)realization that the artist needs to respect their need for control and honor their lack of it. The best way for me to serve my clients is to be uncompromising on the elements I need to be my best. Foremost example? Location.
Lightroom. If you don't have it- get it. But don't steal it. Stealing and sharing software is for fools.
The Click Clique. Kiera and I really started a great thing. We are so inspired by Leah, Justin, Jessica and Trevor. So supported and lifted. Professional friends are money in the bank.
Trades. For REAL. I'm a red head now, my walls are covered in great art, and I am outfitted like a star. Trades are where its at.
My big huge south facing windows that allow light in so I can gather great pics of my life.
Listening to myself when my self said something. It was so wonderful to take time off when my son was born, take a break from weddings, get a new camera, adjust my pricing and packages.
You. Thank you for all the support and faith in me. I feel very honored to have such a broad and steady support system. Truth is I don't know what I'm doing all the time but I do my best, I am always willing to learn and share what I learn. I am not perfect, God knows I'm far from it but I really love what I do. Why? Because of you.
