I do my best work collaboratively. Ideas bouncing round, significant places reflected in the images. I do my best family portraits in the home where the family is made and grown. Images of life where lives are lived. Ashley Baker allowed me to work under the best of those conditions. She is a incredibly talented artist, photographer and a dedicated mother. As a found friend I must say that no one has the ease of Ashley. This is the second time I have photographed her family and it is certainly not the last. Thanks Ashley and Brian.

This post is not nearly as full of photos as it could have been as every single photo seemed blog worthy. Isn't that great? You really should look at the rest HERE

I want you at my house right NOW! My yard is gorgeous this time of year...but no one is home but me.

I am in love with these photos! They are wonderfully creative and so telling of who this family is at its heart. Wonderful!

Nothing short of absoluelty incredible. OK, the lightbulb pic? DYING! The funny face series is wall worthy. The green is making me yearn for spring and the greenhouse pic with mom indian style on the floor is dreamy.

It is so fun to see their little family-- I took some of my freshman core classes from Ashley at the Y and met Brian years ago while he was doing Summer sales in Chicago-- It is so fun to see all of their babies! What a beautiful family!
