Sunday morning the sun came up in a way that really felt like an apology for being hidden for so long. But before its entrance the air was cold, and our thick hoped-for fog groped every tree and hung heavy with image possibilities. We considered trees and fields, looked at how bleak the morning was and we moved into our respective grooves.

My groove was affected more by the cold that I wanted to admit, and the results of Kiera's were different than her expectations. I think is is safe to say that we are both happy with the results of a few short hours in the cold together. The truth is, every time Kiera and I work together I feel that way and for that reason I call myself lucky, even in the cold.

I wish I lived back in Utah and we could hang out and shoot together. What fun these are.
