Meet Ryan and Jessica Swift- I adore this couple! Jess and I met online and when she choose me to be her photographer for her destination beach wedding I was more than excited to collaborate with her and document her beautiful day. Ryan is a med school student from New Mexico and she is an artist (who I absolutely love) from Colorado.

Every couple needs engagement photos so we rose before the sun to have picturesque Malaga Beach in Rancho Palos Verdes all to ourselves and the morning was perfect. Perfect couple, perfect assistant, perfect location, cloud cover....

One of the best parts of being a photographer is seeing. Not just lines and how to encourage interaction- but I see little extracts of character, charm, drive, confidence and love. It was so fun to observe how natural Jessica and Ryan's love is, how committed and strong. Having the opportunity to be a part of their beautiful wedding (photos to follow) has been one of the highlights of my Summer.

Want to see more photos of this super cool couple? Perhaps even buy some or share them with a friend? Well then click HERE.

PHOTOGRAPHERS NOTES: Want a special location all to yourself? The early bird gets the worm! I picked up Jessica and Ryan at 5:45 am to shoot these engagements. You must have willing and laid-back clients of course....

These are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

I especially like the perspective of the shot with the yellow road lines.

Great, as always!
