Home from Boston this Christmas Holly and Nic bundled their growing Elle and we explored the outdoor beauty of a winter's afternoon. I love doing what I do.

It was cold. It would have been cold for anyone but for those, like these, who hail from tepid So-Cal it was frigid.
But bundled we went into the snow packed orchard. Ethan with his ice-like cane, Whitney with her direct wit and mothering charm, Jack insisting when our adult pace picked up that we "wait up", and chubby cheeked Van content on his mother's hip.
