Some events feel magical. This one did. At one point the wind was so gusty and determined that guests and family took turns holding the cake in place for fear it would fall on the apple studded grass. Yes, apple studded. This reception was in an orchard just outside Zion National Park. The forecast predicted a storm that would have put us inside but instead, mother nature just sent grey clouds and wind bursts.
